Here is a sneak peek at a couple of the samples I have made of my spiral notebook cover to take to Martha Pullen in Arlington, TX on June 23 - 25.  I will post the tutorial on my blog the same week.  

I just finished embroidering these two tank tops with the GiGi Alpha from Planet Applique isn't the alpha adorable?  I love the double effect. I used Floriani's No Show Fusible Mesh first to stabilize the fabric and then once the embroidering was all done I ironed on tender touch (or Floriani has their own version - Dream Weave) on the back so it would be soft against the skin. If you haven't used these products yet, you should really check them out.  They are what Target and Walmart are using on the back of embroidery for baby's clothes and it...

Almost Friday....can you tell I live for the weekends?  This has been a crazy week with the bad weather we have had here in Texas.  Of course it is nothing like the folks in Joplin, MO have experienced.  My prayers go out to them. Here is my latest screen tote bag creation.  It has been really popular and I think it is because of the pretty bluebonnet fabric.  You could use any fabric you wanted to make this of course.  The bluebonnet fabric just cried out to me to make something with it .  Hope to spend part of this...

Normally Mondays are the worst day of the week.  I am sure most people will agree and this one was no exception until I got home from teaching class tonight and found a package waiting for me :>)) I entered a contest in March that Embroidery Academy was hosting and I won the Grand prize which was Master Works II Digitizing Software and it came in the mail today. YIPPEEE!!  I can't wait to install it and see what all it can do. The class I taught tonight was on the ziploc baggie cover.   The goldfish applique is a freebie...
